Anthony Villanueva

Anthony Villanueva serves as MHC’s Director of Information Systems.

Villanueva is responsible for all technology related facets at Mental Health Cooperative, including strategic planning, software design, operational development, and network infrastructure.  Villanueva joined MHC in 2001 and has focused primarily on using technology as a tool to provide the greatest amount of care possible to our population.   Using MHC’s Mission Statement as a guide, he has incorporated several business related techniques into MHC’s culture including Customer Relationship Management and Activity Based Costing to keep costs at a minimum and increase the amount of services that can be provided. 

Villanueva’s experience includes 15 years in the industry with responsibilities in technology including software engineering, project management, software build management, and technical documentation.  Prior to joining MHC, he held positions at General Electric Information Services, Brentwood TN, science based corporations contracting with Arnold Engineering Development Center, Tullahoma, TN, as well as the Tennessee based startup EdgeNet Media, Brentwood, TN.  Villanueva earned his B.S. in Computer Science with an emphasis in Software Design from Middle Tennessee State University.
