Dawn Ducote, LCSW

Dawn Ducote serves as the Program Manager of Criminal Justice Services for the Mental Health Cooperative. 

Ducote first served as the Criminal Justice/Mental Health Liaison for Davidson County, TN with MHC. In the past she has received specialized training on geriatric persons with mental illness in correctional settings and sexual offenders. Ducote's current clinical interests include advocating for the severely and persistently mentally ill populations who have been marginalized in the community, criminal justice and crisis management.

Ducote received both her undergraduate and Master of Social Work degrees from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA. During graduate school, she discovered her interest in the forensic populations and worked in adult male correctional institutions in Louisiana.  Her focus was on treating sexual perpetrators as well as consumers with mental illness on crisis management and aiding consumers in accessing emergency psychiatric care.
