Steve Sheehan currently serves as the Director of Staff Development at Mental Health Cooperative.  

Sheehan has worked in a variety of mental health settings since 1975 including Parthenon Pavilion, DeDe Wallace Community Mental Health Center, House of Friendship (now Park Center), MTMHI, AdvoCare. He has been with MHC since 1998.  Sheehan’s wealth of clinical experience allows him to focus on improving the clinical skills of all staff at MHC including supervision of future licensed practitioners.

Sheehan earned his undergraduate degree from Belmont University and master’s degree in social work from University of Tennessee, Nashville, TN.  Steve has worked in a variety of mental health settings since 1975 including Parthenon Pavilion, DeDe Wallace Community Mental Health Center, House of Friendship (now Park Center), MTMHI, AdvoCare. In has been with MHC since 1998.   In 2004, he was awarded the Advocate of the Year from the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill – Nashville Chapter.
