Registered Nurse to work with multi-disciplinary teams to provide psychiatric care to consumers in the Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU).
1. Perform psychiatric nursing assessments and medication management for consumers in the CSU and assist in determining readiness and appropriate discharge.
2. Develop treatment plans, discharge plans, and crisis prevention plans with consumers.
3. Prepare and lead group and individual therapies.
4. Participate in daily multi-disciplinary team meetings.
5. Provide triage and crisis assessments and medical clearance as needed for consumers who walk-in to the CSU.
6. Work collaboratively with MHC services, medical providers, Mental Retardation providers, Substance Abuse providers and other providers to coordinate psychiatric and medical care for consumers in CSU.
