Funding Sources

There IS Life After Diagnosis!

MHC is a non-profit agency governed by a board of directors. Our primary funding sources are TennCare (Medicaid), Medicare, and the Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation. In addition, we receive funding from United Way.

Our primary fund raising activity is an annual golf tournament where the funds raised are targeted directly to the consumers for emergency situations. For information on how you can participate contact:

We also welcome private donations. You can be assured that your contribution is making a difference.
