Mission and Values
Our Mission
MHC will assist people with serious and persistent mental illness and children with serious emotional disturbances live successfully in their environments of choice with the least amount of professional intervention possible.
MHC will help individuals achieve success and satisfaction in their living, learning, working and social roles so that each can live productively outside the formal mental health system.
MHC will focus on recovery from the catastrophic consequences of mental illness so that, even when symptoms persist, mental illness does not have to be the central focus of the individual's life.
MHC will promote involvement of family members and friends in the individual’s recovery.
We believe
There IS life after diagnosis!
