MHC Breakfast Co-Chairs
Co-Chairs help Stand with Me for MHC Breakfast & Awards
Mental Health Cooperative Foundation (MHCF) is pleased to announce co-chairs for the 2nd annual Stand with Me for MHC Breakfast. Community volunteers Lee Oakley and Mary Loch Smith have agreed to help plan and launch this event which celebrate the organizations and individuals who make recovery from serious mental illness possible for MHC clients. This event will take place at Fifty Forward Knowles Patricia Hart Building 174 Rains Avenue Nashville, TN 37203 on Wednesday, April 4, 2012.
Lee Oakley is currently President of Southern Delights by Oakley, a company that manufactures and sells pickles and jellies. Oakley is an elementary education tutor and co-facilitates a bible study at First Presbyterian Church. She has served as a volunteer at Ensworth School, both on the Parent Council and in numerous roles in the athletic department. At St. George’s Church she served on the vestry and for two years as director of the Sunday school program. Oakley has chaired The Boulevard Bolt and currently volunteers with the American Heart Association.
Mary Loch Smith currently volunteers her time to the Nashville community through service on the bereavement committee, the hand-bell Choir at First Presbyterian Church, the Sunshine committee for Mother’s Club at Montgomery Bell Academy, and co-facilitating a bible study. Smith served on the Parent Board at Harpeth Hall and co-chaired the Evening of 65 Roses to raise funds to assist finding a cure for individuals afflicted with Cystic Fibrosis. She currently stays active with an organization called RALLY (which focuses on awareness for childhood cancers).
