Who We Serve

Mental Health Cooperative has been quietly, compassionately serving clients who aren’t readily accepted elsewhere – people who are living in poverty and experiencing severe and debilitating mental illness such as schizophrenia, bipolar disease, severe depression and substance abuse. MHC serves thousands of adults and youth annually. We see the individuals we serve as people first; the diagnosis should not define who the person is nor what the person through treatment and support can achieve.

Please note: the Metro Davidson County office offers a comprehensive set of services to its clients. Fewer services are available at MHC's satellite locations.
