Support Services

MHC is sensitive to the unique needs and challenges of being diagnosed with a mental illness or a severe emotional disturbance. Additional support is usually needed periodically to assist the consumer with special needs as they arise. MHC offers:

A Representative Payee system for anyone needing assistance managing their monthly income.
Independent Living Support for those who need occasional financial assistance beyond their monthly disability check.
Full time staff member dedicated to TennCare Eligibility.
Full time Department of Human Services Worker on site.
Transportation Services for clinic appointments.
Housing Developer to locate safe and affordable housing.
Residential Services to assist with transitional and permanent housing.
Criminal Justice Liaison to assist with the identification and coordination of treatment for individuals who have been arrested and need mental health treatment.
