AMERIGROUP, BLUECARE & UNITED HEALTHCARE COMMUNITY PLAN MEMBERS
NASHVILLE, TN (March 24, 2021) – Too many Middle Tennessee citizens continue to struggle with the devastating consequences of opiate addiction. Those confronted with the dual effects of poverty-level income and addiction face additional challenges with access to the most regarded, evidence-based treatments.
Mental Health Cooperative, a local non-profit recently opened “Cooperative Recovery” for that very reason. “We need an outpatient opiate treatment program in Nashville that is laser-focused on providing all of the services necessary for clients to be successful under one roof,” said Pam Womack, Chief Executive Officer. “That has not been available, so we designed our own, leveraging all the available research and best practices.”
Cooperative Recovery combines Suboxone Treatment, Trauma-Based Psychotherapy, Psychiatry, Care Management, and Primary Care into an integrated circle of care. Care Managers assist with critical resources such as housing, food, clothing, transportation, financial supports, and eligibility benefits.
All services are available on an outpatient basis allowing clients to continue to work, attend school or take care of their families.
Cooperative Recovery welcomes your calls for additional information, to make a referral, or to get started today at (615) 743-1555. All TennCare plans are accepted. The clinic is located in Metro Center at 260A. Cumberland Bend Drive.
